STEP 1 – Set up a NEW recurring gift on CHURCH CENTER, the new giving platform. 

• The following steps can also be done through the Give tab at the bottom of the Church Center app for Christ First Church. 

• Specific instructions for the web-based interface (not the app):

  • Visit https://cfdowningtown.churchcenter.com/giving

  • Log into your account or set up a new account.

  • Enter Amount under Give to General

  • Select Frequency as Regularly. Choose the frequency you prefer. The options are: Weekly, Every other week, Monthly, Twice-Monthly (with 3 two-date options)

  • Select the date for the first regular gift

  • Select the Payment Method (you may need to add a new account)

  • Finish by clicking the Start giving button at the bottom (it will list the amount and frequency you chose)

• You can now check or change your recurring donations on the Church Center app or at https://cfdowningtown.churchcenter.com/giving/profile/recurring-donations

 

 

STEP 2 – Cancel your current recurring gift on SECURE GIVE, the old giving platform. 

• Visit ​​https://app.securegive.com/profile/recurring.

• Log into your account.

• Go to View/Manage under Active Recurring Transactions.

• Click Cancel to stop recurring gifts.

• Click “Yes, I want to cancel this recurring transaction” checkbox at the bottom of the dialogue box.

• Click Cancel Recurring Gift.
